| Unit Charting
Under Unit Charting, ICE™ provides all of the Nursing Note capabilities described above, but allows the Nurse to more easily perform similar charting on multiple patients without having to return to the Patient Search screen in order to select each patient separately. |
Focus Notes Focus Notes in ICE™ can be dynamically created for any Flow Sheet item in order to document additional information regarding abnormal findings, additional interventions, or variances during Flow Sheet usage. |
Flow Sheet Assessment The Flow Sheet provides a complete spreadsheet-style interface that includes all of the standard Nursing Assessment items (plus Daily and Shift Round items) to provide continual assessment of the patient. Through an intuitive color-coding scheme, the Nurse can easily evaluate the status of ongoing Flow Sheet tasks and documentation. When abnormal findings are documented, automatic alerts provide options for notifying the Physician, adding the item to the ICP, and generate a Focus note. |
ICP Outcomes Outcome items in ICE™ are dynamically derived from the interventions/outcomes defined within the ICP. For any patient, the responsible nurse can see at a glance the identified problems, interventions, and outcomes for which the nurse is responsible. |
Daily Nurse Charting Daily Nurse Charting items in ICE™ are derived automatically from the orders documented in the Plan section within the Admission H & P or Transfer Summary. Only those items ordered at the time of admission or transfer are displayed, simplifying the task of Nurse charting. |
Interdisciplinary Care Plan Administration Based on the results of the Initial Nursing Assessment, the responsible Supervisor/Team Leader can easily define appropriate interventions and outcomes and assign responsibility for identified problems. Abnormal findings documented in Focus Notes during Flow Sheet documentation can be automatically added to ICP for further definition of interventions and outcomes. |
